Summary of Minecraft Live 2026

Minecraft Live has been full of new and exciting game drops all coming quite soon. Mojang are yet to introduce the Tiny Takeover game drop taking over Minecraft with cute and updated baby mob textures with the main one being the new baby chicken with its bright and yellow feathers and biome variants. We will also be getting Sulphur caves in the Chaos Cubed game drop featuring sulphur and cinnabar blocks along with a new mob… The Sulphur Cube is a slime like mob that has the ability to absorb blocks which can change the distance it moves depending on what type of block is used, for example an ice block would make it travel very far, however iron would only make it travel a small amount of the distance the ice can do.

How can you use these new updates in Minecraft?

These new updates may have a lots of new blocks and mobs, but how do we use them? We can start with the blocks sulphur and cinnabar which can be great for building aesthetic bases, for example we can build a castle themed base and use cinnabar as a roof or use a lush cave biome which will be a great place to use sulphur blocks. Both cinnabar and sulphur blocks come with multiple variants like stone meaning that they have smooth and chiselled versions if you are looking for a different or unique style to take your base to the next level.
